Simply Clean Nine

It’s been a quite year on the photography side of my life. I’ve had lots of personal events happen to me throughout the year, not to go too much into detail but I almost died do to some issues with my liver. But here I am, alive, strong, and ready to get back to what I love doing. For this year’s Simply Clean it would be 11 months since I’ve done anything with my camera. Had to break in the new year with a good piece of glass to rent. I’ve always wanted to try out Sigma’s Art Series Lenses, so I picked up their 35mm Art Lens and wow it is amazing! I wish I had the USB lens dock to further calibrate the lens to my 1Dmark3 but it worked really well out side of the box. Sadly the weather didn’t play 100% so it kept wanting to focus on the clouds on the paint of the vehicles. Plus being almost a year out of practice it took a few dozen shots to get back into groove of things.

The event itself though was amazing, I think this year I saw more friends than ever. I can’t thank Nickoli enough for creating this event and making it better and better every year. Since the first event I always felt I was home surrounded by friends with one passion. Enough of me blabbing, expect one more coverage next month for Wekfest. Again, enjoy the snaps!

2016 Titan Motorsports Open House

This past week Titan Motorsports open their doors for their annual open house. Every year, Titan Motorsports holds a dyno show, car show, and bikini girl show…what better way to spend a gorgeous florida Saturday? Lots of nice car’s this year inside the Titan compound, especially my boy’s S2000. Good thing I didn’t take Summer, she would have been jealous and looking at me mad that she isn’t looking that good. It was a bit weird driving my newly bagged Audi Avant for the first time to a car show and leaving my S2000 in the garage. Enjoy the pictures everyone.

First Random Snaps of 2016

2015 was such an up and down year for me. I can get into the whole personal stuff, but it gets no one anywhere. What’s done is done, now for my photography work for 2015 it has been a huge jump in exposure. Again, this is still a hobby of mine as I would love for it to be my full-time job, but I’m still not there yet personally. This past year I’ve made so many new friends, met many followers. It’s surreal at times when I get stopped at shows to say ‘hey man i follow you, love your work/car’ it’s an awesome feeling I must admit. Lately my photography has been more as therapy, either hanging out with friends, by myself, it’s something about dusting off my camera and I look through that viewfinder and my worries just leaves my mind.

I needed that today so my buddy Mike woke me up around 11am and told me to meet him at the Starbucks near downtown Eau Gallie. It’s been over 2 weeks since I’ve moved my S2000 as well, so that was another treat for today. After some much-needed caffeine we drove around and spotted some cool locations for some pictures. We’re not much known for cool graffiti walls so there’s only so much we can shoot around here. It was the right amount to get me out of this funk and I appreciate Mike for getting me out. Anyways, here are the couple snaps. Lots going on these next few months though so I can’t wait to show you all the upcoming Motorsports events and meets and shows!

Liberty Walk Summer Bash Meet Up

Better late than never to post coverages from a few months ago. Here’s a few photos back from July’s LB Summer Bash meet up. I haven’t see Liberty Walk vehicles since SEMA in 2013. Kato-San was actually there from the start of the meet along with his whole crew. Towards the middle of the meet, Kato made a big crash with an amazing parade of GTR’s, BMW, Porsche, and an amazing 240Z. Enjoy the snaps everyone!

Titan Motorsports VI Annual Open House

It’s been 3 years since I’ve been to my first Titan Motorsports open house and its crazy how much has changed, especially with the scene. It’s nice to see a power house like Titan Motorsports bring in a good mixture of cars. But the real reason wasn’t just for a meet, it was to raise money for their favorite charity, The Just in Queso foundation founded by Tijuana Flats. They help the near by community with food straight from Tijuana Flats. Last year they raised over $14k, which is amazing! But this year they want to beat it! Hopefully we’ll get word soon that they did. But I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking, enjoy everyone!

50 Shades of Summer

This year will be my 10 year anniversary with my baby girl, I feel like I need to get her something or do something for her… maybe take an amazing photoshoot with an awesome backdrop and print it out. Hmm, we’ll see how the rest of the year looks like. I did want to start in the power department but my stupid head can’t keep its mind on what to do. But how she sits now I couldn’t be anymore happier. Its exactly what I wanted her to look, aggressive as hell and breaking necks.

Couple of life changing moments has happen this year so I’ve been trying to deal with that as best as I can. The only thing I can turn to that can make me feel better or forget my stuff is my photography and Summer. I just get into a groove, my own world, it’s just me and my work. At my worse point one day I decided to stop by a location along side the beach to take my mind off of things. These are a little dark than my usual edits but I think it fit my mood at the time. Anyways, enjoy everyone.

24 Hours of Speed, Rubber, High Octane, and Noise

The weekend of the Rolex is finally here! Well, was, but my ears are still ringing from being so up close to brutal machines driving for 24 hours. This brings a total of 3 years straight coming to Daytona and camping out in the infield getting cold, wet, hot, and sleep deprived. Yes, it was amazing and I will do it all over again next year.

If you want to skip the boring reading part you can go here to view the full gallery on my flickr. Full Flickr Set Here – Rolex 2015

Winter is coming!

*Cover Photo done by my girlfriend Roxie (instagram – @rblgti)

The last biggest car show was here and now its gone. It was a great way to end a freaking crazy year. Like last year I helped out my good buddy Nickoli from Simply Clean to cover the event. Hopefully I did a decent job, I’ve been up since 5am so I was starting to crash hard towards the early afternoon. Anyways, I’ll post more pictures here as soon as he posts up the article on his site. I added some teasers for now but hopefully I’ll have the full set late this week or early next. Till next time!

**UPDATE**

Article is out! Short but sweet over at Simply Clean.

Simply Clean 6

Another year and another amazing time at this year’s Simply Clean event. We come to Destination Daytona at 7:30am and the long lines were already forming outside. This year was a little different for me personally because I was secretly working on my car for the past 3 weeks as my full fender flare kit from Circuit Garage finally came in almost a year and 3 months of waiting. You had no idea how hard it was not posting any updates on my progress, only my girlfriend Roxie knew about it. My boys at De’Caudella’s auto body shop did an amazing job on Summer and with the attention she got at CCW Pre-Meet and Simply Clean 6 show it was all worth it!

The show it self was good as well, Nickoli always puts the right mix of cars inside the pavilion. As always its the meeting of old friends from all over the east coast that you don’t regularly see is awesome. I also met a lot of new faces too from my instagram which was always nice to put faces behind the screen names. Thanks again Nickoli and the rest of the staff at Simply Clean, you made another successful show. Time to see what’s in store for 2015! #sc7prep
