A Boy With His Cars

I’ve met the owner of Swine Eleven Senor Wesley back in 2014 at a Tampa car show. He didn’t have the typical Porsche as most owners do. At the time all I saw was a Mint color roll cage, and a matching bike on the roof. I mean it wasn’t all that revolutionary but seeing that on a gorgeous white GT3? Yeah pretty badass in my eyes.

Well about a year ago he acquired a pretty beat up 993. I think it was the perfect car for him since he’ll be redoing the whole interior with his own style and giving the outside a much needed polish. He worked day in and day out (when the wife allowed it) getting it ready for the road. Missing each deadline you can tell he was eager to get it ready for the 2019 year.

Titan Motorsports annual Open House event was it’s reveal show and boy did it get some attention. As soon as we finished setting up the Highwaystar Booth I b-lined to the front and started snapping his 993. It just looked so perfect sitting on gold face CCW Classics. From what Wesley told me was its original paint, he decided against because he knew it would get driven hard and worrying about the paint isn’t what he wanted to deal with. Paint just needed some elbow grease to make it pop again. Interior he went with a color that is rare to find in the states like the Mint color that’s in his GT3. Ruby Red is gleaming in the back on the roll cage and a pair of Recaro’s with its back painted as well. Interior pieces stitched in double ruby red as well. As you can see he don’t play around with his Porsche’s.

Anyways, enough babbling enjoy the few snaps of both of his beauties. Hope to see them around soon.

Sunny Winter For A Porsche DRT 2019 Meet

What a perfect way to start the 2019 year with a gorgeous sunny hot winter sunday with a bunch of Porsches. Every year I tend of forget about this meetup, but thankfully I was reminded to mark my calendar and not to miss it. Parked at a garage building as soon as we came down the stairs to the ground level we were greeted by a row of bright colors, totally untouched 1970’s Porsches. Coupes, convertibles, speedsters, 911’s, bright orange, blue, it was insane seeing them all in one row. The next street, there was a row of the popular 80’s 90’s 911’s. It was just an overload of car enthusiast juice, there were rare 930 turbos, 993’s, 964’s in 1/100 in the world with color combos. It was pure heaven to see rare and rarer Porsches, like the Singer DLS. Yes the 1.8 million Singer DLS was there in all its glory. That vehicle alone I stood in awe for 30+ mins absorbing every curve, vent, material, colors, just everything about it. I’ll stop rambling and let the pictures speak for themselves, as always enjoy them and show some love.

Simply Clean Nine

It’s been a quite year on the photography side of my life. I’ve had lots of personal events happen to me throughout the year, not to go too much into detail but I almost died do to some issues with my liver. But here I am, alive, strong, and ready to get back to what I love doing. For this year’s Simply Clean it would be 11 months since I’ve done anything with my camera. Had to break in the new year with a good piece of glass to rent. I’ve always wanted to try out Sigma’s Art Series Lenses, so I picked up their 35mm Art Lens and wow it is amazing! I wish I had the USB lens dock to further calibrate the lens to my 1Dmark3 but it worked really well out side of the box. Sadly the weather didn’t play 100% so it kept wanting to focus on the clouds on the paint of the vehicles. Plus being almost a year out of practice it took a few dozen shots to get back into groove of things.

The event itself though was amazing, I think this year I saw more friends than ever. I can’t thank Nickoli enough for creating this event and making it better and better every year. Since the first event I always felt I was home surrounded by friends with one passion. Enough of me blabbing, expect one more coverage next month for Wekfest. Again, enjoy the snaps!

That Rough Life – RWB Orlando

Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year’s over the weekend. It’s been a rollercoaster of a year for me, but I’m glad where things are heading. Photography wasn’t my highest point for the year 2016 from the previous years, I’m hoping to change that this year. My biggest photography event has been The Rolex 24hours so I’m hoping to get media credentials to bring you some crazy photos. Lots of car meetups coming this year, Eibach will be coming to Florida for the first time for a huge Honda Meet, maybe going up to TN again for the Riverside Meet Up 2, going up to Virginia for Spring Fest, and maybe SEMA this year. Hope you guys stick around, it’s going to be a busy year for my camera.

For now here’s a quick shoot of Joseph’s gorgeous 993 RWB Porsche at last month’s Winterfest Meetup in Tampa. There’s also a sweet mini documentary of the buildup made by Krispy. Enjoy the video and my shots, get ready for The Rolex!

Clean Culture 2016 Meet Up

It’s been awhile everyone! Well, to the one or two who still follow this site. I don’t blame you, but thank you for still sticking around. Hopefully I’ll be updating this a little more as there are a few events coming up.

Well this past weekend I attended this year’s Clean Culture Meetup at the West Palm Beach convention center. Quite a bit different from the other events this year so far. it was different as I didn’t have to wake up at 6am to get ready and drive a few hours out to the meet location. It started at a sun high’s afternoon at 3pm, so I took a nice morning to check over the car and then at noon I set off to SoFL. Thankfully as I just got off the Florida Turnpike my good friend Sparky from Cloud9ab just got there as well. I pulled the good ole I know so-n-so inside to the front person at the gate to go on through. It was a good meet overall, it’s been a few months since my last car meetup thing, so it was good to get out clean the ole girl and show off for a bit. Enjoy the set everyone!

Riverside Chatta Pre-Meet

2016 so far as been a great start for my camera. It’s been snapping away like crazy and this past weekend was no short of that. I packed up my Audi, aired up, and headed north to Chattanooga, TN for the first annual Riverside Car Meet. This was my first time in Chattanooga and the 9 hour driver was well worth it. I just want to thank the whole staff, I usually don’t travel this far for a first car show/meet, but the over 4 month of planning I knew it was going to be a big deal. Plus the location was an awesome idea for holding about a 100 top of the line cars with vendors.

I’ll get into the show next post, this right now is about the quick little pre-meet friday evening on a long hill street. Pretty awesome to see 40-50 cars on one long street and amazing food and drinks over at The Bitter Alibi. Enjoy the pictures everyone, I’ll be post the main meet pictures next week.

Roar of The Rolex From 10 Yards Away

A great start for 2016 for my photography portfolio, I covered my first major Motorsport event for Enjuku Racing and S3 Magazine. To nail the coverage even more than my previous photos at the Rolex I decided to rent out the mack daddy of lenses. A Canon 300mm 2.8L behemoth of a lens was acquired along with a Canon 24-70 mark 1 for the closer action shots. It was such an awesome experience to earn, to finally be a photographer at a major Motorsport event. Hopefully you guys enjoy the pictures, it definitely took awhile to sort though over 6000 photos and edit them. I really had time to do Sebring this year, but with finishing up my Audi and S2000 for the upcoming shows I’m close to broke. Until the next Rolex!

Big Wings, Wide Hips, Loud Colors, RWB Invades Vegas

Decided to combine all of my RWB pictures into one article. Most of them were corral at the iForged Wheels booth, which introduced the latest RWB vehicle to the west coast family. The 1973 RSR Backdated Porsche by the CYC Trading Group was jaw dropping gorgeous. I’m still trying to get my Porsche termanology down so please excuse me butchering the codes. You then had 2 993’s and 2 964’s in the lineup. Everything from wild track setup to a low-wide cruiser. I was really partial to the Orange RWB by the Creaminz crew. After about 20 mins of shooting almost every angle of each car, I took about 10 mins to myself to just admire these cars. You see all these build videos of different porsches being cut, and riveted, paint, massaged by Nakai-San and then you finally see them in person, it’s like a religious experience. You feel like you’ve known the car since day one, through it’s whole build process. Enjoy the pictures, I’m not sure what I’ll be posting yet, but tune in again next monday!

Simply Clean Family 7

Well it’s that time again, for gorgeous cool weather, smell of fresh wax and tire shine and of course la brujha. If you don’t know what the brujha is, you’re lucky. Apart from the drinking, Simply Clean goes deeper than the average car show. If we go back a few years back Nickoli always stressed the importance of Family. With social media getting bigger and bigger so does your friend circle. Simply Clean with how big and popular it is, brings everyone under one roof. Thankfully this year the rain stayed away and everything felt even more organized than the previous years. It was great talking to old friends and meeting new people. Always taken back when I’m walking around taking pictures and someone new stops me to say what’s up cause they follow me or know of me because of my car. That’s what keeps me coming to Simply Clean shows, you are always guaranteed and awesome time. Big shout-out to all of the staff at Simply Clean, much much love!
